Who we are

A home for faith, family and community

The Hussaini Association of Calgary is a registered Canadian charity, founded in 1982 to serve the Shia Muslim community. We follow the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his pure household, the Ahlul Bayt (AS), and stand for justice, compassion and peace for all.

• Faith

Nurturing our community in Shia Ithna Ashari belief, practice and moral values, through the Quran and the Ahlul Bayt (AS).

• Community

Majalis, learning for every age, and counselling and mentoring support for families in Calgary.

• Harmony

Peace, justice and coexistence: interfaith dialogue and service to the wider Canadian community.
